Special Guest Speakers include the President of Liberia, the Hon. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the Hon. Alemayehu Tegenu, Ethiopia’s Minister of Water, Irrigation and Energy and Guido Schmidt-Traub, Executive Director of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
The panel discussion will focus on:
– How investments in water, sanitation and hygiene can contribute to ending extreme poverty and achieving broader development outcomes in health, education, gender equality and the environment.
– How these investments can act as a catalyst for broader economic development creating multiplier effects when integrated effectively with other sectors.
