Representatives of civil society organizations must be accredited either through ECOSOC or through the FfD process, or must be included in formal delegations of accredited organizations. Those who are already in possession of a valid UN grounds pass will be able to attend without registration. Those who do not currently have a valid UN grounds pass must complete the following registration form no later than Tuesday, 12 April at 10am NY-time to be considered for a Special Event Ticket (SET): http://www.un.org/esa/ffd/ffd-follow-up/ecosoc-ffd-forum/cso-registration.html

To facilitate your understanding of the process, kindly consider that there are basically three options:

  1. Your organization is accredited (either through ECOSOC of FfD) and you are in possession of a UN ground pass: No registration required;

  1. Your organization is accredited (either through ECOSOC of FfD) but you are not in possession of a UN ground pass: Your organization needs to issue a formal letter that designates you as representative to the FfD Forum (signed by the organization’s head or equivalent) and you need to fill the application for a Special Event Ticket (SET) at the following link: https://goo.gl/0heOa6 If you apply without the letter, the application will not be considered;

  1. Your organization is not accredited: Before applying for a Special Event Ticket, you need to secure your inclusion within the delegation of an accredited organization and obtain a letter that designates you within the delegation of that organization (signed by the organization’s head or equivalent). Should you need support in this respect, please contact any member of the Addis Ababa CSO Coordinating Group (ACG) with which you enjoy closer relations or contact the ACG at its dedicated email address (addiscoordinatinggroup@gmail.com). Once you have secured such letter, fill the application for a Special Event Ticket (SET) at the following link: https://goo.gl/0heOa6 If you apply without the letter, the application will not be considered.
