CS FfD Mechanism at the Addis Ababa Preparatory Committee

The Civil Society Financing for Development Mechanism is present at the preparatory session in Addis Ababa towards the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development. This session is taking place from July 22 to July 26, 2024 and is part of the preparatory process that includes multiple sessions across different locations aimed at facilitating discussions and groundwork in the lead-up to the main conference.

Preparatory Meeting: 

The Civil Society Preparatory Meeting for FfD4 Prep Comm took place on Sunday July 21, at the 'Selamta and Walia Boardroom’ of the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel 

CS FfD Mechanism Side Events: 

  • Tuesday 23, 8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. FfD4: Time for ambition for a Multilateral Legal Framework on Debt under the aegis of the United Nations. Location: Selamta and Walia Boardroom1st floor, New Building, Ethiopian Skylight Hotel 

  • Wednesday 24, 8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Towards a more Democratic International Public Finance Architecture. Location: Adey Ababa Board, 1st floor, New Building, Ethiopian Skylight Hotel 

  • Thursday 25, 1:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. FfD4: Democratizing trade, financial and monetary governance under the aegis of the UN. Location: Adey Ababa Board, 1st floor, New Building, Ethiopian Skylight Hotel
