The United Nations, as the only global institution mandated to address economic and
social challenges where developing countries have an equal say, is the space to call for a systemic transformation of the global financial architecture. Development Cooperation Forum 2023

The Development Cooperation Forum (DCF) is taking place this 14 and 15 of March 2023. It was launched in 2007 and operates in two-year cycles. The DCF is now held prior to the FfD Forum to serve as an input to discussions towards the annual FfD Forum. Key findings of the DCF are captured in an Official Summary prepared by the ECOSOC President. More information on the DCF available here.

The 2023 DCF's official programme is available here.

Participants from the Civil Society FfD Mechanism will be at the meeting including as speakers in the programme.

Vitalice Meja of Reality of Aid Africa speaks in the session 'Protecting lives and livelihoods of the most vulnerable for more effective development cooperation'.

Jennifer del Rosario-Malonzo of IBON International speaks in the session 'Scaling up effective development cooperation for climate resilience'.
