Side Events at the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development
Join us for a critical series of side events organized by the Civil Society FfD Mechanism during the 4th Financing for Development Conference.

The Civil Society Financing for Development (FfD) Mechanism invites all accredited participants of the 4th Financing for Development Conference (FfD4) to join a vital series of civil society-led side events in Seville, Spain, from July 1–3, 2025. Taking place in Auditorium 3 at the FIBES Conference Center, these events will provide a platform for deep reflection and bold action.
As the world faces converging crises of inequality, ecological breakdown, and unjust global power structures, civil society actors from all regions will come together to challenge the status quo and demand real, systemic change.
“There is no more time for false solutions that tinker around the margins and maintain power imbalances untouched,” organizers stress. “Systemic transformations are needed, and UN member states — together with civil society — must seize the moment and finally choose to be bold.”
The side events will offer space for grassroots voices, frontline perspectives, and critical analysis of the FfD4 outcomes, with a focus on charting next steps for the future of the Financing for Development process and global economic governance struggles.
