The United Nations, as the only global institution mandated to address economic and
social challenges where developing countries have an equal say, is the space to call for a systemic transformation of the global financial architecture. This is where the UN Financing for Development (FfD) process comes in – as a space to advance on the systemic changes we urgently need to see.

October 7 – 10, 2025 Johannesburg , South Africa

The CS FfD Mechanism will be participating at the Pan African Conference on Illicit Financial Flows and Taxation (PAC) convened by Tax Justice Network Africa (TJNA) in collaboration with its partners.

This annual event brings together policymakers, civil society, parliamentarians, media, researchers, partners, and academics to take stock of success and challenges in the continent’s Domestic Resource Mobilisation (DRM) efforts and provide solid evidence that CSOs and other stakeholders can use to support their ongoing tax policy and advocacy work.
