Abstract

Launch event of the  new report, “Who Pays for Progress? The Role of Domestic Resource Mobilisation and Development Assistance in Financing Health. A case study from Kenya.”

The report is a joint initiative from RESULTS UK, KANCO, WACI and the ACTION Global Health Advocacy Partnership. It uses Kenya as a case study to examine health financing in developing countries, and emphasises the need to increase both development assistance (ODA) and domestic resources (DRM) in order to move towards Universal Health Coverage.
