Registration for the 2018 (Third) ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development Follow-up (April 23-26, 2018 at the UN HQ, New York, USA) just opened at the following link:
http://www.un.org/esa/ffd/ffdforum/2018-ffd-forum/stakeholder-participation.html
Those who are already in possession of a valid UN grounds pass are encouraged to register. Those who do not currently have a valid UN grounds pass must complete the registration process to be considered for a special event ticket.
Attendees at the FfD Forum must be accreditd either through ECOSOC or through the FfD follow-up process, or must be included in formal delegations of accredited organizations. As usual, the Addis Ababa CSO Coordination Group (ACG) will facilitate the registration of representatives of organizations that do not possess ECOSOC or FfD accreditation by including them in their respective delegations. Interested participants are invited to contact the ACG (addiscoordinatinggroup(at)gmail.com) at the earliest possible opportunity.
Please note that registrations now happen through the new Indico system. Your organization should have received information on how to use the system. Please also note that attendees at the FfD Forum representing civil society organizations are required to submit a letter from the head of the organization through which they are accredited. The letter should indicate that they are members of that organization’s formal delegation to the FfD Forum. Should you require any assistance in completing this process, please contact the ACG (addiscoordinatinggroup(at)gmail.com) at the earliest possible opportunity.
Lastly, please note that the Civil Society Group will host a full day preparatory meeting on Sunday, April 22, as well as a follow-up meeting on Friday, April 27. Separate registration process will soon be opened.
