Pan African CSO Conference on Financing for Development

A Pan African CSO Conference will be convened in Entebbe, Uganda in preparation for the Third International Financing for Development Conference which is scheduled for 13-16 July 2015. The conference will bring together Civil society organizations across Africa, experts in development finance and Government representatives.
The conference will seek to achieve the following objectives:
• To debrief and acquaint the participants on the process and the status of the Addis Ababa outcome document
• To develop key common messages for the African CSOs delegations towards the CSO and the Official UN FFD outcome documents
• To issue the African CSO statement on UN FfD process
Date and venue
The conference will take place at the Imperial Golf View Hotel in Entebbe, Uganda. It will start on 7th of July and will end on 8th of July.
Language of the conference:
The conference will be held in English, and French and simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
